Lenovo Launches New Range of ThinkPad, IdeaPad and IdeaCentre PCs

At MWC 2019, Lenovo launched a range of product from PCs and smart devices to Data Center technology and solutions. The latest lineup showcases intelligent devices, including new ThinkPad, IdeaPad and IdeaCentre PCs, and the newest smartphones from Motorola, including innovations like the just launched new moto g7 family and moto z3 with the 5G Moto Mod, the world’s first 5G upgradeable smartphone. Lenovo’s Data Center Group also unveiled the new ThinkSystem SE350 edge server, which is part of a family of future offerings, along with new IoT and edge computing solutions.
Lenovo announced the latest additions to the ThinkPad portfolio: the T490s, T490, T590, X390 and X390 Yoga. With more than 140 million units sold to date, the fundamentals of ThinkPad have always focused on design and engineering, creating end-user trust through first-class security and durability and ensuring a premium mobile experience.

Lenovo also introduced the Lenovo 14w with Windows 10 and Lenovo 14e Chromebook laptops intended to increase firstline worker productivity. Firstline workers are key contributors within large enterprise segments, such as retail, hospitality, travel and manufacturing but they are often overlooked when it comes to corporate PC allocation. By providing firstline workers with PC devices, such as the Lenovo 14w and 14e Chromebook, companies can unlock their true value and improve their collaboration and contribution.
Finally, Lenovo announced an all-new ThinkVision M14 mobile display and X1 ANC Headphones to maximize the flexibility of remote teamwork. The M14 allows mobile workers to increase screen real estate and enable easy content sharing on the road, and the X1 ANC Headphones have been professionally tuned by Dolby to offer enhanced audio capability during communications and voice commands.
Now users on the go can get the best of both worlds with the new, ultraportable Lenovo Tab V7. It combines the benefits of an Android tablet including all-day battery life, terrific sound and a massive 6.9-inch IPS Full HD display, with the advantages of a smartphone that lets you talk, text and use data anywhere – all at an accessible price point. Lenovo also unveiled a fresh range of Windows 10 IdeaPad and IdeaCentre mainstream consumer PCs that offer students, young professionals and families more design choices and greater value for daily computing and connectivity – without hurting the wallet. Available in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes in an all-aluminum chassis, the new IdeaPad S540 ultra-slim laptop balances higher performance with greater portability and longer battery life – letting users get more done on the go.

InnoEX 2025 Highlights Five Key Tech Innovations

Reporting from Hong Kong: Driven by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Business of Innovation and Technology Week (BIT Week) returns in April 2025. As core events of BIT Week, the 3rd InnoEX and the 21st Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) will be staged concurrently from 13 to 16 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The two exhibitions will showcase global innovation and technology (I&T) achievements, leading-edge electronics products, and advanced technology solutions addressing various business pain points. Industry professionals, investors, buyers, and technology users from different sectors, including SMEs are encouraged to attend the fairs.
Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, said: “This year’s InnoEX and Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) attracted more than 2,800 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, reflecting the strong international appeal of the events. Under the theme “Innovation • Automate • Elevate,” InnoEX 2025 will showcase groundbreaking technologies from an impressive roster of international participants. Exhibitors from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao will join counterparts across Asia, including ASEAN members Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, along with India, Japan, and Korea. European innovation will be represented by France, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, while Australia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates round out this global gathering of tech leaders.
The four-day event will dedicate each day to exploring specific technological frontiers, providing SMEs with practical solutions to overcome industry challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The opening day on April 13 will focus on two transformative themes: the low-altitude economy and technology-driven growth.
Following the HKSAR Government’s announcement of its first low-altitude economy Regulatory Sandbox pilot projects, InnoEX will present cutting-edge drone and air mobility solutions. Major Chinese manufacturers and a multinational consortium developing a “low-altitude smart network” will demonstrate their innovations. Industry experts will share strategic insights on developing this sector in Mainland China and examine Hong Kong’s potential role in this emerging field.
Concurrently, the Tech-Driven Industry and Economy Conference, organized by the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, will assemble government officials and global technology leaders to examine innovation strategies and sustainable development pathways.
