Bethesda’s RAGE 2 is only out on May 14, 2019. “But that doesn’t stop the party,” says the company. With events, community challenges, new vehicles, additional enemies, new Cheats, and two huge expansions, RAGE 2’s calendar is pretty packed for the rest of 2019.
Starting the week of launch, the company plans to kick off RAGE 2 community challenges. Members need to complete these challenges together and everyone who takes part will be rewarded with free skins. For those who shatter the first community challenge, a Vomit Comet Pistol skin awaits for them.
In order to receive their rewards for the community challenges, members and gamers need to be online and signed in with their Bethesda.net account. New challenges will roll out every week in May and June, so gamers should keep an eye on the RAGE 2 Twitter account and the in-game Message of the Day to learn about the current challenge and prize.
In addition to the weekly community challenges, gamers also get access to a brand new in-game event, “Bring the Ruckus,” featuring Ruckus the Crusher. The first big game update arrives just a month after launch, with fresh community challenges, new Cheats, and a couple of pretty major events, including one that introduces a pilotable Mech as a new vehicle type and one that adds a massive new enemy to the wild world of RAGE 2. All that for free.
July marks another big free update for the game, with another new vehicle type and enemy joining the game. Bethesda plans to continue dropping new community challenges, skins and Cheats for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to a mountain of new events and other goodies, August brings RAGE 2’s first major expansion: Rise of the Ghosts. The Rise of the Ghosts expansion will add a brand-new storyline and region to explore, as well as new weapons, abilities and vehicles. “See what the Ghosts have been up to since you last saw them in the first RAGE in Rise of the Ghosts,” said the company.
There’s plenty more coming to round out 2019, including the second major expansion coming in November. All the details will be periodically announced. RAGE 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 14, 2019.
Review: Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless Mouse
As part of its Champion Series, Corsair announced its latest Sabre RGB Pro Wireless Mouse on the market today. The company sent the new mouse to us in advance for a review. And after using the mouse for a couple of days, we are glad to report that it exceeded our expectations.
The new mouse joins the league of the Sabre RGB Pro, which was launched earlier in 2021. The new Sabre RGB Pro Wireless is very lightweight and packs in an ergonomic design, that offers a competitive advantage to gamers. The mouse itself offers wired and wireless connectivity to laptops and PCS.
In terms of wireless, you get two options – either through Bluetooth or through Slipstream Wireless. The advantage of using Slipstream Wireless is that the technology transmits inputs at sub-1ms speeds, delivering mouse movements and clicks up to two times faster than a conventional gaming mouse, while also ensuring exceptional wireless signal quality throughout your gameplay.
You also get up to 90 hours of battery life that lets you play wire-free for days between charges. In terms of design, the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless features a similar design seen on the wired version. The Wireless variant though has a bit of heft to it when compared with the wired variant.
You get standard left and right-click buttons, with a slight groove in them for comfortably holding two fingers. You also get a bit of texture to the material on both the left and right-click that keeps your fingers from slipping. Forward and back buttons flank the left side of the mouse, and there is a DPI quick-select button just below the scroll wheel.
Inside the box, you get the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless mouse, along with the Slipstream Wireless receiver, a USB Type-C charging cable, the quick start guide, the warranty info and the safety instructions. Getting started with the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless is effortless. Connect the Slipstream Wireless connector to your PC or laptop and switch on the mouse in Slipstream mode, and you are good to go.
The mouse weighs just 79-gms – so rapid movements and lightning-quick reflexes are not a problem. The mouse also comes packed with professional-grade gaming mouse elements, such as the first-ever Corsair Marksman optical sensor. The mouse also comes with the highest dpi in any Corsair mouse to date at 26,000-dpi. This makes sure you get very precise movement.
The mouse is also compatible for use with Corsair’s very own iCUE software. With this app, you can customise dynamic RGB backlighting, remap buttons, create macros, and adjust DPI settings. All of these can be stored onto three onboard profiles. On the bottom of the Sabre RGB Pro Wireless, you will find a switch to move between Slipstream (RF), charging/wired, or Bluetooth modes and a button above that to initiate pairing for the latter.
Both types of wireless connections worked without issue during our review. However, while gaming, it’s better to use the dongle and Slipstream, as it delivers lower latency at sub-1ms. The mouse was comfortable overall to hold and use.
During our review, we put the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless to test with a couple of games including Watch Dogs Legion, GTA V, and Doom Eternal. The mouse was very comfortable, quick to respond, and reliable. The buttons were very comfortable as well to use and the sensor on the mouse was very responsive.
The Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless Mouse comes with an impressive sensor, a very aesthetic and comfortable design, Slipstream Wireless technology, good overall performance, and a 26,000-DPI.
The pricing of AED 429, is a bit steep. However, if you are looking at top-notch performance, with very good connectivity options, the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Wireless mouse comes across as highly recommended. It thus walks away with the Gadget Voize Editors’ Choice award!
Price: AED 429

New DEATHLOOP and Ghostwire: Tokyo Hannya Trailer Revealed at the PlayStation Showcase
At the PlayStation Showcase event this weekend, Bethesda Softworks revealed a new trailer that dives deeper into the story for DEATHLOOP, the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Arkane Lyon. DEATHLOOP launches on September 14, 2021, exclusively for console on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PC. Watch the trailer now featuring the new custom track – “Down the Rabbit Hole” – from Sencit featuring Samantha Howard and Haqq:
Colt, our amnesiac protagonist, is searching for a way out of the Aeon Program’s clutches and off the island of Blackreef. It’s up to the player to unravel the mysteries of Colt’s predicament and ensure his rival, Julianna, doesn’t put a few bullets in him before then. Tango Gameworks also revealed a thrilling glimpse of Ghostwire: Tokyo through an exciting, brand-new trailer that stars the menacing Hannya.
Hannya has unleashed a catastrophic fog upon Tokyo that wipes out most of its population. In the aftermath, he leads the Faceless, a menacing group of loyal zealots who bend to his will. Where smiling citizens once walked now stands an army of one-of-a-kind creatures only Tango Gameworks can create: The Visitors.
Inspired by Japanese legends, folklore, and tales, The Visitors are striking, imaginative enemies that lurk throughout Tokyo. Many characters are from famed dark stories like “Kuchisake-onna,” characters that stay true to Tango’s desire to honor Tokyo through an authentic, never-before-seen game world.
Awakening in the famed Shibuya Crossing, Akito finds himself partially possessed by a strange spirit and surrounded by the dangerous creatures invading Tokyo. Desperate to ensure the safety of his sister, Akito must ally with the spirit and master powerful abilities to battle his way through Tokyo’s dangerous streets.
With the power and speed of the PlayStation 5 console, Tokyo is vividly brought to life thanks to the console’s stunning ray-tracing technology. As players walk its streets, reflections of gorgeous neon lights drip onto puddles that become glassy mirrors of the world’s vibrancy and beauty. Ghostwire: Tokyo also delivers faster loading times to keep players immersed, and haptic controls that allow players to tangibly feel their actions while traversing Tokyo’s streets and rooftops.
Ghostwire: Tokyo will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5 and PC.
