Insta360’s New ONE X2 Lets You Shoot, Stabilise, and Edit 5.7K 360 Videos

Published

on

Insta360 has launched today the Insta360 ONE X2, a pocket-sized camera offering stabilisation, 5.7K 360 videos, IPX8 waterproofing, a 360 touch display, and a range of AI-powered editing features. ONE X2 is part camera, part sidekick. With just one device, you can capture every angle at once, and unlock cinematic perspectives that used to require a cameraman or drone.

When you’re ready to edit, AI-powered features in the Insta360 app and desktop software help you find and edit your best shots in just a few taps.  Insta360 ONE X2 is available to order today via Insta360.com and select retailers worldwide, including B&H Photo Video and Adorama.

Insta360 ONE X2 unlocks a world of creative possibilities. Four ways to shoot—360, Steady Cam, InstaPano, and MultiView—come together to deliver a multi-cam rig that fits in your pocket. With 5.7K 360 degrees capture, the camera catches the action in every direction, so you don’t have to point while shooting. Just choose your favorite angle during your edit, or let ONE X2’s AI do it for you.

When you want to capture traditional flat videos, there’s Steady Cam mode. This mode puts all your firepower behind one of ONE X2’s lenses, capturing ultra-stable, ultra-wide footage that’s ready for instant sharing. InstaPano is a brand-new photo mode for capturing beautiful panoramas. Rather than moving your camera or phone across a scene and getting poor-stitched, blurry panoramas, it’s just one tap and done.

And for solo vloggers and creators, MultiView is a game-changer. Display two angles at once with different fields of view and make sure you’re always in frame with the app’s face tracking. Whether you’re shooting in 360 or Steady Cam mode, FlowState stabilization keeps your shot smooth. ONE X2’s stabilization and horizon leveling algorithms are better than ever, allowing you to shoot ultra-stabilized shots with just one pocket-sized cam—no gimbal needed.

The real fun of a 360 camera lies in the Invisible Selfie Stick. Everyone’s favorite feature is back with ONE X2, allowing you to capture epic aerial angles without a cameraman or drone. Watch the stick magically disappear in your edit, keeping you in the center of your own story.

There’s nothing easier than editing your footage with the Insta360 app’s Shot Lab. Shot Lab hosts a continuously updated collection of one-tap templates using the latest and greatest 360 editing techniques. All you need to do is bring the footage and Shot Lab turns it into something epic.

Templates like Dolly Zoom and Stop Motion make cinematic effects as easy as a tap. Clone Trail and Shadow Clone template clone your body in seconds. Ghost Town takes your 360 timelapse and removes people from it, outputting an unobstructed photo.

Select your target with a tap or voice command while shooting. Then head to the app or Studio, where the upgraded Deep Track algorithm can track humans, animals, and other moving objects, keeping your target center-frame, no matter the obstacle.

The beauty of capturing 360 degrees means you don’t have to point at your subject when shooting. But having every possible angle at your fingertips can get a little tricky when you’re ready to share your footage. Auto Frame combs every inch of your 360 footage and reframes your shot to find the highlights. Improved video recommendations and a new photo algorithm help you find the perfect shot in seconds.

The TimeShift hyperlapse feature is back with ONE X2, and now available for both 360 and Steady Cam shots. Adjust the playback speed while reframing your shot in any direction, or let the AI do it for you. Add a Freeze Frame to slow your video down to a standstill and reframe the angle at the height of the action. It’s as simple as a tap in your video’s speed settings.

Achieve natural, high-dynamic-range shots in a tap. PureShot mode enhances the dynamic range of your low-light photos, while reducing noise and preserving detail. The image quality improvements don’t stop when you head underwater either. AquaVision auto-balances out colors, resulting in crystal-clear underwater content that looks like it was shot in broad daylight. Just toggle it on in the app—no external filter or further editing needed.

Insta360 ONE X2 maintains the pocket-sized form factor of ONE X, while building on its strengths with a range of hardware and performance upgrades. A higher-performance 1630mAh battery keeps you shooting for 80 minutes, while a new ultra-bright high-def touchscreen allows you to preview your shot in 360 degrees.

ONE X2 is also ready for the water, with IPX8 waterproofing. Take it down to 10 meters (33ft) without a case, or use the Dive Case to shoot down to 45 meters with seamless underwater stitching. Four mics hone in on your voice no matter how you hold the camera. You can record stereo audio with a new smart wind-reduction algorithm or record ambisonic for a fully immersive experience.

Voice control allows you to control shooting when ONE X2 is just out of reach. You can even connect your AirPods to control the camera or record audio on the go. Stay connected with friends, family, and colleagues from a distance. Use ONE X2 as a webcam to get a wide-angle split-screen view on Zoom and other popular conferencing platforms. Or go live in 360 degrees on Facebook, Youtube, or any other 360-video channel with the customized RTMP feature.

Insta360 ONE X2 is available to order today via Insta360.com and select retailers worldwide, including B&H Photo Video and Adorama. ONE X2 retails for $429.99. A selection of new accessories are also available including Lens Guards and a Bullet Time Cord for capturing epic slow-mo angles.

Jabra Adds Three New Products to its Elite True Wireless Line-up

Published

on

Jabra has announced the launch of three products to establish its new Elite true wireless line-up – the Elite Pro, Elite Active, and core Elite lines. The additions include the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, a revolutionary product that features Jabra MultiSensor Voice technology, offering best-in-class call performance. Jabra is also releasing the Elite 7 Active with pioneering ShakeGrip coating, perfect for those active lifestyles. Finally, the third addition to the range is the Jabra Elite 3, which brings fantastic sound while on the go to a wide audience.

This redefined Elite range signifies the latest breakthrough in true wireless technology: each one is specifically engineered to reinvent the true wireless experience as you know it by introducing new and unique technologies optimised for specific use cases in a sleek and modern design. As one of the first companies to introduce true wireless technology, Jabra has taken six generations worth of learning and is reinventing true wireless to better fit with the needs of today’s millions of true wireless users.

The new Elite range is tailored for specific use scenarios. Jabra’s new Pro category is designed for those who want the best of the best for calls and music, allowing users to experience true wireless without limits. Jabra’s Active category is tailored for sports and active lifestyles and the earbuds are specifically engineered to stay put when you sweat. Finally, Elite 3 makes up part of Jabra’s core category, a new standard for entry-level, on-the-go sound.

Jabra MultiSensor Voice
The introduction of innovative Jabra MultiSensor Voice technology for the Elite 7 Pro delivers ultimate call clarity, even in the noisiest places. More people are connecting through voice: Voice calling increased year on year in 2021 and is the number two use case after music. Jabra MultiSensor Voice combines a bone conduction sensor, four microphones, and algorithms to ensure crystal clear calls. Jabra’s expertise in developing intelligent algorithms resulted in the engineering of one of the first consumer earbuds that use this hybrid technology.

A cutting-edge voice pick-up (VPU) sensor in both earbuds makes Jabra MultiSensor Voice so effective. The intelligent algorithms constantly analyse the types of noise being picked up by the built-in microphones, and when they detect wind noise, they automatically activate the VPU sensor. Bone conduction technology is used to transmit voice via the vibrations in the jawbone, and the intelligent algorithm then uses the best combination of the bone conduction sensor and microphones to transmit the best call clarity.

In addition, adjustable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) creates a fully immersive experience. Sound can be personalised even further by creating a personalised audio profile with Jabra MySound technology and using HearThrough – a technology that allows the user to define exactly how much outside noise they want to let in. The Elite 7 Pro earbuds are 16 percent smaller than the hugely popular Jabra Elite 75t, which are Jabra’s smallest earbuds so far.

By leveraging Jabra’s database of 62,000 unique ear scans, the technology pioneer was able to create a map of the average human ear and use the insight to totally redesign the earbud. Then, after excessive testing, Jabra has been able to produce an earbud that offers exceptional sound quality and optimised comfort. The all-encompassing earbuds come with nine hours of non-stop playtime with ANC and 35 hours with case charging, with fast charging that delivers 1.2 hrs of power in just 5 minutes. The Elite 7 Pro comes with Alexa built-in, Siri and Google Assistant.

Jabra ShakeGrip Technology
For those who are looking for the best fit for an active lifestyle, the Jabra Elite 7 Active is specifically engineered to suit them. Save for the Multisensor Voice technology, the Active version features the same top-quality experience as the Elite 7 Pro, with four built-in microphones for call technology and an additional two for personalisation plus adjustable ANC. In addition, based on Jabra’s unique understanding of the ear, the use of liquid silicone rubber, and a wing-free design, the new Elite 7 Active with ShakeGrip coating is designed to give the ultimate fit whatever your movements, changing the way people work out. For those who want to go outside whilst being active, the microphone mesh removes wind from calls, whilst the performance-boosting audio ensures a powerful workout music experience.

Jabra Elite 3
The Jabra Elite 3 is the perfect choice for those seeking a rich sound, powerful bass, and clear calls at a lower price point. After recognising a gap in the market for a lower price earbud that still offers the exceptional sound quality, Jabra has used its years of experience to make great sound an option for everyone. The earbuds are engineered to bring music to life with 6mm speakers and deliver crystal clear calls with 4-microphone call technology, a class-leading music equaliser, inclusion of Qualcomm aptX HD audio, and seven hours of battery life (28 hours including the charging case).

The earbuds offer outstanding noise isolation and with HearThrough awareness, users can tap into the sounds of their surroundings. Elite 3 also comes with an all-day comfortable and secure fit, sleek Danish design, and in a new range of colours including Dark Grey, Navy, Lilac, and Light Beige. René Svendsen-Tune, CEO at Jabra said, “We are more connected than ever before. The world has also never been noisier, which requires innovative technology to ensure people can be assured of a clear voice, calls, and music experience. At Jabra, we take our many years of experience to push the boundaries of technology, with the launch of our Elite 7 Pro, Elite 7 Active, and Elite 3 earbuds as a result. The introduction of these new products signifies huge developments within the market, and we are excited to be at the forefront.”

The Elite 7 Pro will be available for a price of AED 799. Stocks will be available in the second week of October. The Elite 7 Active is priced at AED 699 and stocks will be available end of Oct/early Nov. The Elite 3 is priced at AED 349 and stocks are already available in the market.
