Samsung Gulf Electronics has announced that ‘The Frame 2021’ is now available for purchase across the UAE. Consumers today expect experiences tailored to their needs, personal tastes, and style, with Samsung’s Lifestyle TV category offering screens designed for every consumer and every space. The Frame, in particular, is an elegant work of art that will give any space the inspiration it deserves.
Mustafa Sadick, Regional Director, Head of Visual Display Group, Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “The Frame’s official introduction to the UAE market is a major moment for those that value art and entertainment. As an endlessly personalizable innovation, the latest generation of The Frame is a canvas that mirrors one’s style and what they love. We are proud to have delivered a TV that fulfills consumer’s desire to be nothing short of distinctive, with world-class design and technological advancements coming together for a new and unique customer-centric proposition.”
The Frame transforms from a TV into a work of art that can be personalized to fit any room aesthetic and decor. With new partnerships in the Art Store, The Frame features more original artwork to match individual tastes. It also includes AI-based auto-curation technology that recommends artwork based on your selections, empowering you to curate your own personal art collection with a growing library of over 1,400 pieces of art from world-renowned institutions.
The Frame also features increased photo storage space from 500 megabytes in 2020 to 6 gigabytes in 2021, so you can store up to 1,200 photos in UHD quality. From beloved classics to stunning photography, the Art Store gives you access to a variety of content to personalize your space. To celebrate Art and inspire customers, Samsung is also offering a free 4-month subscription to the Art Store with any purchase of The Frame.
In 2021, there are new ways to customize The Frame itself—from new mounting options like the Slim Fit Wall Mount to multiple bezel options. Additionally, we have made the 2021 Frame slimmer than ever: just 24.9 millimeters thick. With approximately the same depth as an actual picture frame, it’s just as appealing off as when it’s on.
The Frame is a splendid addition to any living room, but it’s also a breathtaking TV, with groundbreaking QLED picture and sound technologies. With its 100% Color Volume and Quantum Dot technology, The Frame creates over a billion shades of accurate color to deliver Samsung’s finest picture ever. You can see every vibrant color, shade, and tone on display – exactly as it was meant to be seen.
By purchasing The Frame 2021, you will also enjoy a host of other next-level features, including Dual LED, SpaceFit Sound, and mobile-friendly connectivity features, such as MultiView and TapView. What’s more, you will discover new ways to enjoy television, either as a brilliant 4K QLED TV or an innovative display of your favorite works of art.
The Frame 2021 is available for purchase across Samsung brand shops, e-store and select retailers.
Sennheiser Introduces new CX True Wireless Earbuds
Sennheiser has launched a new pair of affordable true wireless earbuds as part of its CX range, which the company calls CX True Wireless. In terms of design, the earbuds are a bit similar-looking to the CX 400BT. Rather than use off-the-shelf components Sennheiser has equipped each bud with its own home-made TrueResponse transducer, which is designed and manufactured in its HQ in Germany.
Sennheiser can control frequency response and tone in this way, and the manufacturer boasts of deep bass, natural mids, and plenty of clarity in the higher frequencies. The CX True Wireless app includes a Smart Control feature, which allows you to adjust the EQ to your liking. Bluetooth 5.2 support is included, along with aptX for lag-free connectivity with Android smartphones.
Outside of the case, the buds can last for up to 9 hours before they need to be docked in their cradles again, with two additional full charges in the case, making a total of 27 hours. After a firmware update, each bud comes with a touch-sensitive interface that allows users to customize commands. That means you can use it to control audio, answer calls or launch your phone’s assistant.
With dual microphones on each earbud, the CX True Wireless optimizes voice pick-up for calls and voice assistant access even when using just one earbud. For added versatility, each earbud can be used individually via a simple ‘role switching’ feature.
Using the Smart Control app, users can allow the Sidetone feature to enable their own voice to be heard during calls. The CX True Wireless will be available in matte black or matte white for AED 549 including VAT.

LG OLED TV and XBOX SERIES X Partner to Bring an Enhanced Gaming Experience in KSA
LG Electronics (LG) and Xbox have entered into an exclusive marketing partnership to highlight the phenomenal gaming experience of the widely-anticipated Xbox Series X console and LG OLED TV in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. LG OLED TV has become the official TV partner of Microsoft’s new console to provide consumers the opportunity to experience for themselves the sheer exhilaration of gaming on LG’s 2021 OLED TV models and Xbox’s latest console.
The combination of LG’s most advanced TV and Xbox’s most powerful console ever allows both casual and serious gamers alike to enjoy next-generation gaming today. With features such as an ultra-fast 1ms response time with low input lag and support for the latest HDMI specifications including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and enhanced return audio channel (eARC), games not only look and sound better, they’re more responsive. With four ports ready to support these features, LG’s OLED TVs offer all the advantages of simultaneous connections for multiple gear set-up from consoles to PCs.
The advanced combined processing power of the duo enables players to enjoy 4K gaming at up to 120 frames per second to take advantage of the latest advancement in real-time ray tracing graphics technology. LG’s 2021 OLED TVs are the first to support the new HGiG profile and as founding members of the HDR Gaming Interest Group, LG and Microsoft are confident that the latest HDR titles will look exactly as their developers intended.
With its self-lit pixel technology, LG OLED TV boasts superior picture quality with vibrant, natural colors and infinite contrast. And as the first TV and the first game console to support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, LG OLED TV and Xbox Series X will draw gamers even deeper into the action with dynamic images and sounds. And because eye fatigue from gaming is a real thing, all of LG’s 2021 TV models feature OLED panels that are Eye Comfort Display certified by TÜV Rhineland, meeting every one of the high criteria set by the international testing firm.
The certification indicates that the TVs are flicker-free, emit minimal blue light and deliver a wide color gamut, excellent HDR performance, and consistent picture quality when viewed from a wide angle. For even more eye comfort assurance, LG OLED TVs are also verified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as flicker-free and low blue light-emitting, posing no photobiological hazard. The LG OLED and XBOX is currently available for a bundle package this month and consumers can purchase at LG showrooms and retail stores in KSA.
