TEAMGROUP Launches the Upgraded SIREN GD240E AIO ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler with LGA 1700 Compatibility

TEAMGROUP has announced the new SIREN GD240E All-In-One ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler, which comes with a mounting bracket for the latest LGA 1700 socket and fully supports 12th Generation Intel processors and Z690 motherboards, making it a must-have cooling solution for gamers. Launched alongside the CPU cooling system is the M200 Portable SSD, winner of Japan’s 2021 GOOD DESIGN Award. Hardcore gamers around the world can look forward to both products when they are released globally this December.

The newly upgraded SIREN GD240E AIO ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler not only supports various older Intel and AMD sockets but also provides a mounting kit for the latest LGA 1700 socket. The specially selected base plate, support screws, and mounting brackets enable the water block to fit snugly with the processor. The full and even contact between the surfaces aids heat transfer swiftly to the high-density jet fin heat sink, greatly increasing the heat dissipation area and quickly removing heat from the CPU.

To optimise efficiency and the path of heat transfer, the SIREN GD240E is equipped with an ultra-fast 4000RPM water pump that’s installed on the radiator to reduce wear and noise on the CPU caused by water pump vibrations. These features allow the system to deliver 1.5 times higher cooling performance than typical liquid-cooled products while also providing the best protection for the next-gen Intel processors. Intel Achieves Major Milestones Across Automotive, PCs and Graphics

Today as part of the International Consumer Electronics Show, Intel demonstrated advancements and momentum with Mobileye, progress toward discrete graphics leadership, and the launch of the newest members of the 12th Gen Intel Core family. With these milestones, Intel furthers its commitment to enable the industry and its customers and partners to harness the technology superpowers – ubiquitous computing, cloud-to-edge infrastructure, pervasive connectivity, and artificial intelligence – at the heart of the digital transformation.

During the Intel news conference, Gregory Bryant, executive vice president, and general manager of the Client Computing Group, was joined by Lisa Pearce, vice president of the Visual Compute Group, and Prof. Amnon Shashua, Mobileye CEO, to share Intel’s progress across multiple strategic businesses.

“The Intel execution engine is back. From advancing the PC to high-performance graphics to autonomous driving solutions, Intel and Mobileye are proud to create new ecosystems and opportunities across multiple industries,” Bryant said. “Together with our partners and customers, we are driving new innovation across products, platforms and services, and delivering on our vision of enabling world-changing technology that improves the lives of every person on the planet.”

Mobileye Shows Progress on Multiple Fronts
Mobileye announced a new system-on-chip (SoC) that is purpose-built for autonomous vehicles (AVs). Built on Mobileye’s industry-leading EyeQ technology, EyeQ Ultra does the work of 10 EyeQ5 SoCs in a single package and was designed to deliver the optimum power performance of a fully self-driving vehicle.

During the news conference, Shashua was joined by the CEOs from two of the world’s largest automakers to announce expansions of their longstanding relationships with Mobileye. A recap of Volkswagen Group CEO Herbert Diess’ recent car ride with Shashua in Munich was used to announce VW’s application of Mobileye’s advanced mapping technology in its driver-assistance features for the VW, Škoda, and Seat brands. Shashua also welcomed Ford CEO Jim Farley to discuss the expanded relationship between Mobileye and Ford as they deliver ever-more advanced driver-assistance solutions via the Ford BlueCruise platform.

Mobileye also announced two firsts with Geely’s Zeekr brand – a level 4 consumer AV expected to begin production in 2024 and the launch and shipment to customers of the industry’s first fully capable level 2+ vehicle equipped with a 360-degree surround-view sensing system and driving policy for the industry’s most advanced longitudinal and lateral control in the market today.

Performance Hybrid Architecture Advances World’s Fastest Mobile Processor
Intel announced the 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors – setting the standard as the highest-performance laptop processor on the planet. Built on the Intel 7 process node with Intel’s first-ever performance hybrid design, the H-series, led by the flagship Intel Core i9-12900HK, delivers up to 40% higher performance for unparalleled gaming experiences and up to 28% faster gameplay than the previous mobile gaming leader in the market, the i9-11980HK.

Intel showcased more than 20 new devices powered by the 12th Gen Intel Core H-series, with more than 100 devices in total expected to launch with partners including Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer. In addition, Intel unveiled a new ultraportable mobile processor – the P-series product line – to bring enthusiast levels of performance to thin-and-light laptops.

Intel Arc Graphics Set to Transform the Discrete Graphics Industry
Intel marked a new era in the discrete graphics market by announcing the shipment of Intel Arc graphics to OEM customers.  Intel Arc graphics is the brand for Intel’s upcoming consumer high-performance graphics product and delivers the new choices to the industry, including many all-Intel discrete graphics platforms. With more than 50 new mobile and desktop customer designs announced with Intel Arc graphics, including Acer, ASUS, Clevo, Dell, Gigabyte, Haier, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, MSI, and NEC, it is an exciting time for gamers and creators around the world.

Intel Deep Link technology extends Intel’s years of platform leadership by leveraging multiple processing engines, a common software framework, and Intel platform expertise to bring new capabilities and better performance to PCs with Intel Arc graphics and compatible Intel Core CPUs. DaVinci Resolve by Blackmagic Design will support Deep Link Hyper Encode, which uses integrated and discrete graphics processors together to accelerate creation by simultaneously encoding the same video stream.

NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 3080 Ti for Laptops and RTX 3050 for Desktops

NVIDIA today set out the next direction of the ultimate platform for gamers and creators, unveiling more than 160 gaming and Studio GeForce-based laptop designs, as well as a new desktop and laptop GeForce RTX GPUs and technologies. NVIDIA further expanded its family of NVIDIA Ampere architecture-based GPUs with the GeForce RTX 3050.

Bringing the performance and efficiency of the architecture to more gamers than ever, the RTX 3050 is the first 50-class desktop GPU to power the latest ray-traced games at over 60 frames per second. RTX 3050 makes ray tracing, which is the new standard in gaming, more accessible than ever before.

Review: HP V10 DDR4 RGB by BIWIN

When it comes to memory modules HP is not a brand that immediately comes to mind. However, Biwin has been producing these under license from HP under the HP V10 RGB series. The company offers DIYers with sets of two and four modules of RAM or 16GB with operating frequencies of 3200, 3600, and 4000 MHz. The one we received for this review is a 16GB X 2 3600MHz memory kit.

One of the standout features of the modules is that it uses Samsung’s B-die DDR4 SDRAM chips. The HP V10s come in 8GB (2x8GB) or 16GB (2x16GB) dual kits. These memory modules also support Intel’s XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles. What’s more, the HP V10 RGB RAM Kits are also equipped with RGB backlight cooling radiators.

In order to control and synchronise the RGB backlight with other PC components, you can use software such as ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and Polychrome Sync ASRock. The module itself offers intense RGB lighting, with eight independent lighting areas, 16 million colours, and more than 10 lighting controls.

The modules offer hair-line finished aluminum heat-spreaders in order to assure gamers get DDR4 gaming overclocking memory with excellent quality and optimised performance. HP also offers a five-year limited warranty on these kits. The high-quality 10-layer PCB board ensures the V10 can offer more stable signal transmission. The 15μm gold-plated contacts improve the oxidation resistance to add stability and better data transmission.

If you are huge into RGB-based components, then you will appreciate the new HP V10 DDR4 RGB, since it really goes well with a gaming setup, without looking too gaudy. We ran the Memory Mark benchmark on these modules and we came away impressed. It clocked a total of 2891 points at 3600MHz.

The read and write speeds were also quite good, while the latency was on the lower side. The amount of memory you need depends on your tasks and demands. These days, 8GB is the minimum, which should see most people through daily computing needs, even casual gaming, graphics design, and even photo and video editing. The HP V10 DDR4 RGB 2X16GB kit will offer enough memory to support all your computing needs.
