Logitech Launches the Signature M650 Mouse with a Left-Handed Option

Published

on

Logitech has introduced the new Signature M650 wireless and Signature M650 for Business mouse, a comfortable and personalised mouse with two different sizes and a left-handed option, offering a better experience for more people. The wireless mouse is designed to upgrade any desk setup and improve the overall work experience with features like SmartWheel scrolling, nearly silent clicks, and a contoured comfort design that enables faster, more comfortable work than ever before.

“There are more than a billion knowledge workers in the world, and around half of them don’t use a mouse or have an entry-level or corded mouse with limited functions,” said Art O’Gnimh, vice president of the mainstream business for creativity and productivity at Logitech. “The Signature M650 offers a true Logitech signature experience with simple productivity functions that make working all day easier and faster.”

Whether working on a document or browsing through a website, the Signature M650’s SmartWheel helps to deliver precision when needed and speed in an instant. The Signature M650 and larger size Signature M650 L also feature SilentTouch technology, reducing click noise by 90% compared to the Logitech M185 Mouse, ideal when clicking during a video call. Enjoy a strong wireless connection and a battery that lasts up to two years, giving you complete peace of mind.

With two sizes and a left-handed option, a contoured shape, a soft thumb area, and a rubber side grip, the Signature M650 inclusive design allows you to work comfortably for extended hours and gives you the ability to customize the side buttons to favorite shortcuts with Logitech Options+. The Signature M650, available in off-white, graphite, and rose, works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, ipadOS, and Android operating systems. Connect in an instant via Bluetooth Low Energy or Logi Bolt USB receiver.

Sustainable design considers environmental and social impacts from the moment raw materials are sourced right through to end-of-life. At Logitech, products are designed to deliver great user experiences and minimize environmental footprint, which is why a portion of the Signature M650’s plastic parts are made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic – 64% for the graphite, 26% for off white and 26% for rose.

The Signature M650 mice will be available in January 2022 on Logitech.com and at other global retailers. The suggested retail price for the Signature M650 and larger-sized Signature M650 L is $39.99.

Review of the Amazfit GTR 3 Smartwatch in UAE

Published

on

Huami’s new Amazfit GTR 3 is a follow-up to its popular GTR 2 smartwatch. The new GTR 3 offers lots of bells and whistles without burning a hole in your pocket. The smartwatch comes packed in very modest packaging, which includes the watch itself, along with the charger, and a quick start guide.

The watch itself is quite sleek and lightweight – the company has used durable aircraft-grade aluminum alloy to build the device. The watch comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display that offers a pixel density of 326-PPI. The display itself is of very good quality and it makes everything look really nice on the watch face – whether it is viewing the stats or shuffling through menu options.

The Amazfit GTR 3 boasts a 66% screen-to-body ratio, and is visible even under bright sunlight, thanks to the 1000 nits of brightness. To personalise the watch, you can choose from over 100 watch faces, including 15 animated watch faces, and 8 editable watch faces.

Though the Amazfit GTR 3 runs on its own operating system called Zepp OS, it is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. In order to connect and set up the smartwatch, you will need to install the Zapp app onto your smartphone. Next, log into your Zepp account or create a new one if you don’t already have one.

Once that is done, the app will ask you to complete your profile. After that, go to the “Profile” tab on the Zepp app, and click “Add” in the “My devices” section. The app will then ask to scan the QR code displayed on the GTR 3 and then proceed to connect and set it up.

The overall design of the Amazfit GTR 3 is quite top-notch. On the right side of the watchcase, you get a rotatable crown, which when pressed, brings up the main menu screen. You can then rotate the crown to shuffle through the menu options on the watch’s interface. There is also a button next to the crown, which when pressed, brings up the workout menu.

There are over 150+ sports modes that include multiple activities within running and walking, cycling, swimming, outdoor workouts, indoor sports, dance, combat sports, ball sports, winter sports, water sports, and more. The Amazfit GTR 3 also comes with a water-resistance grade of 5 ATM – so you can go for a swim without any worry.

The Amazfit GTR 3 offers a treasure trove of health tracking features. I was particularly impressed by the “One-tap Measuring” feature, which tests four health metrics in one tap. In 45 seconds, you can measure your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress level, and breathing rate. The watch also offers 24-hour monitoring of blood-oxygen levels.

In addition, you also get all-day heart rate monitoring, even when you go for a swim. The GTR 3 alerts you for abnormally high or low heart rates and tracks heart rate zones to optimise your workouts. The watch can also track and log PAI health assessments. PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence) is a science-backed health score that measures the heart health impact of physical activity.

What’s more, you also get in-depth monitoring of sleep and sleep breathing quality metrics. The Amazfit GTR 3 also tracks stress levels and female cycles, so you are in control of your health stats. The female cycle tracking feature can predict upcoming menstrual and fertile periods, too.

For outdoor activities, the Amazfit GTR 3 can track your route effectively since it supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and QZSS satellite navigation systems. It also comes with online and offline voice assistants powered by Alexa and an Offline Voice Assistant.

For a price of AED 659, the Amazfit GTR 3 comes across as an amazing (pun unintended) value for money smartwatch that also doubles up as a fitness tracker. The GTR 3 offers lots of features found on most flagship smartwatches out there on the market, but at a very pocket-friendly price. The Amazfit GTR 3 thus walks away with the Gadget Voize Editors’ Choice award.

The company unveiled Evolv AI at the 12th Emirates Otorhinolaryngology Audiology and Communication Disorders Congress EROC 2022 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City. Starkey is leading the hearing industry into a new era with bold technology that will transform patient’s relationships with their hearing aids.

“In 2018, we reinvented the hearing aid with Livio AI. Today, the smartest hearing aid just got smarter. Evolv AI is built on Starkey Sound™, a ground-breaking technology created by years of refining Starkey’s research and science-based algorithms to power high-fidelity audio, which is modeled after the human auditory system. Like the brain, Starkey Sound is designed to automatically suppress background noise and designed to increase speech audibility and intelligibility with machine learning technology.

As the world leader in custom manufacturing, Starkey is also proud to introduce the industry’s smallest 2.4 GHz CIC, as part of the Evolv AI line of hearing aids. “At Starkey, Chairman Bill Austin pioneered the concept that designing, and manufacturing hearing aids require excellence. Our researchers, engineers, and manufacturing teams have continued that long-standing tradition of handcrafted excellence by dedicating themselves to creating smaller, more powerful, and longer-lasting devices every single day. Evolv AI certainly leads the way in sound quality, but its ease of use is truly game-changing,” added Giscard.

Additional features of the Evolv AI product family include a 40% reduction in noise energy compared to our previous technology, additional refinement of Edge Mode, Fall Alert, and Voice Reminders at all technology tiers, Thrive usability enhancements, and TeleHear first and follow-up fit additions. Furthermore, surface NanoShield helps protect hearing aids from moisture.

The combination of these features creates an effortless hearing experience for users. Evolv AI’s always-on and always automatic approach delivers realistic and genuine sound quality in every environment, without the need to do anything extra. “At Starkey, Hear Better, Live Better is much more than a tagline. It’s our commitment to you to help your patients live better through better hearing. We can’t wait for you to see how Evolv AI does that, in a way that is effortless out in the real world. We are proud to be leading the hearing aids industry at the speed of innovation,” concluded Giscard.

Lenovo has unveiled its seventh generation of Yoga 2-in-1 laptops with its new 14-inch flagship convertible laptop the Lenovo Yoga 9i, the ultra-portable Yoga 7i in 14-inch and 16-inch, and the 13-inch eco-friendly Yoga 6 made with recycled materials. This year at CES, Lenovo also announced three new Q-series consumer monitors, the Lenovo Q27h-20, Lenovo Q27q-20, and Lenovo Q24i-20.

The Yoga 9i convertible (14”) comes with Windows 11 and up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P processor combined with Intel Iris Xe graphics to deliver superior performance where you need it most. The new laptop has been verified via the Intel Evo platform to deliver a super-fast boot up from virtually anywhere you use your laptop.

The Yoga 9i comes with a Rotating Sound Bar with quad Bowers & Wilkins speakers, consisting of two woofers and two tweeters on the top and sides for authentic acoustics and the immersive sound of Dolby Atmos. It also comes with up to 4K OLED IPS touchscreen with slim bezels, also VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified for 100 percent DCI-P3 color accuracy and optimized by Dolby Vision.

It comes in 16:10 format for less scrolling and a 60Hz refresh rate for everyday computing. The TÜV Low Blue Light certification means it’s specially calibrated to help reduce eye strain. It comes with an edge-to-edge keyboard design layout offering a bar of new 1-Click Function Keys with five additional shortcut keys marked with user-friendly icons for quick access to frequently used features, such as:

  • A shortcut to shifting into Smart Power performance mode that enables higher performance or longer battery life depending on what you’re doing at the time – without having to remember the previous combination of Fn+Q keys. Just look for the performance icon to enable Smart Power that optimizes system battery life and cooler thermals with up to 28W TDP and a 75Whr battery.
  • The clever Background Blur function instantly helps to protect the privacy of one’s surroundings on video calls via Microsoft Teams or other collaboration platforms with just a click; to show a clear image of you and your background once more, just press the key again.

The soundbar built into Yoga 9i’s 360-degree hinge provided Lenovo’s design and engineering teams with the unique opportunity to add a smarter Audio mode changing function key that we call Vibe Check, that helps users better perceive differences between nuanced audio profiles for a more satisfying listening experience for practically any type of entertainment. Choose from music mode to gaming mode or movie mode for a greater sound effect that doesn’t kill the vibe.

In addition to smart sense lighting that auto-adjusts the keyboard’s backlighting based on ambient light, there’s the Color mode key that makes it easy for users to switch their system appearance between dark and light mode via Windows’ native color settings feature to see which works best. Besides giving your eyes a break, enabling dark mode for an OLED display can potentially help preserve the life of the battery, and it comes in handy in low-lit environments.

In the same column of keys, you’ll discover that the Fingerprint reader was placed here instead of where your wrists typically hit the palm rest for added comfort and a cleaner appearance. It also has an FHD infrared (IR) camera with convenient smart login and electronic privacy shutter.

Just think, that plastic bottle in the recycling bin today could be used to help make two fabric covers tomorrow. Thirty percent of recycled plastics were used in the power adapter. The Yoga 6 is also free of mercury, arsenic, and brominated flame retardant (BFR) free, and comes ENERGY STAR certified and EPEAT Silver certified for meeting energy-saving and environmental standards.

Besides being more eco-friendly, this lightweight convertible is powerful with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U Mobile Processor and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics built on leading 7nm technology to deliver ultra-fast performance via up to 8 powerful cores, good value with sleek Windows 11 user experience, and a hyper-efficient battery life6 plus Rapid Charge Boost.

Plus, a solid Terrazzo grey base brings stability and that extra feeling of luxury consumers have come to expect from Lenovo design. Also on offer bringing modern families, the smarter value choices they crave wrapped in a gorgeous package are two more Q-series consumer monitors – the larger 27-inch Lenovo Q27q-20 with up to QHD resolution, and the 23.8-inch Lenovo Q24i-20 with up to Full HD.

For individuals looking for a wireless mouse with a premium look and feel to boost productivity, look no further than to the ultra-portable Yoga Mobile Mouse with low-profile, or the new Yoga Performance Mouse with ergonomic high-handed design and programmable buttons. Available in Cloud Grey and Dark Teal hue to complement new Yoga devices, they’re built with three adjustable settings for higher sensitivity of up to 2400 DPI, plus a dynamic scroll wheel with dual speeds.

Both fully-functional mice deliver users with the accuracy of an IR sensor, a dual-host Bluetooth connection for greater precision, and a long-lasting integrated battery that’s easily recharged via USB-C port to make low-battery notifications a thing of the past. And if the look of fewer wires is appealing, instead of cluttering your home office with several random chargers, why not upgrade to an elegant on-table solution that enables the simultaneous charging of up to four devices, including the new Yoga mice.
