Video Review of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 in the UAE

The Redmi Note 11 comes in a very minimalist package. Upon opening the box, you get the Redmi Note 11, the usual documentation, a protective case, a USB-C charging cable, and a 33W power adapter. On the front, the Redmi Note 11 offers a 6.43″ FullHD+ AMOLED display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Up top, you also get a centered punch hole for the selfie camera which is rated at 13 megapixels. The screen doesn’t have a fingerprint reader underneath, though, since it’s embedded in the power button located on the phone’s right-side frame.

Turn the phone around and you come face to face with a quad-camera setup at the back. Now this includes the 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.

You also get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, which can be expanded using the micro SDXC slot in the dual SIM tray which can be expanded to up to 1TB. The Redmi Note 11 also features an IP53 rating. On the bottom edge you get the USB-C port, while on the top edge, you get the 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and an IR Blaster.

The Redmi Note 11 is also Hi-Res Audio certified. In addition, the phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33W charging. The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 running on top of it. Since this phone is a mid-ranger, you cannot really expect blockbuster performance.

The performance of the quad-camera setup was good and so was the front selfie camera. The main shooter does a reasonable job of capturing detailed shots, given plenty of lighting. Under low light conditions though, you may find the camera struggling to play catchup.

However, for the price point, it is available at, the cameras did a good job. Overall performance of the Redmi Note 11 was good, too. It should be able to withstand day-to-day activities like phone calls, music playback, video playback, and a bit of gaming. The MIUI 13 skin that runs on top of Android 11 provides a commendable user experience.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is available at a price point of AED 899, you won’t find lots of smartphones on the market that offer a 90Hz AMOLED display. The performance of both the device and the cameras are pretty good too, in addition to good battery performance. f you are on a tight budget, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 would be worth considering.
