Acer Adds New Devices to its Iconia Tab Tablets Series

Acer today announced the latest products in its Iconia Tab tablets series, the Acer Iconia Tab P10 and the Acer Iconia Tab M10. With large displays, both are designed with entertainment in mind. Aimed at family users and students, these wallet-friendly Android 12 tablets are packed full of features that allow all members of the family to watch videos wherever they happen to be, take and save high-resolution pictures and play games with ease.

Powered by MediaTek Kompanio 500 Octa-Core processors, up to 6 GB of memory, 128 GB eMMC flash storage, and a MicroSD slot, these tablets are built to outperform other models in their class. Featuring aluminium alloy design, a 6,000mAh battery and a USB Type-C port for charging, both tablets deliver up to 10.5 hours of video playback on a single charge, offering light productivity on the go. Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi capability for seamless and reliable connectivity, dual speakers and a 5MP front camera, video calls are always crystal clear. The 8MP Auto Focus rear camera also allows high-resolution pictures to be taken on-the-fly and the In-Cell Touch Panel (iTP) technology reduces display thickness while improving optical performance.

The Acer Iconia Tab P10 performance tablet has a large 10.4” IPS WUXGA 2K (2000 X 1200) resolution display and a narrow bezel design, screen to body ratio of 76% that makes it easy to get comfortable and immerse yourself in a movie. Its aluminium alloy design keeps it thin and lightweight, measuring 7.8mm thin and weighing just 440 grams.

Google Kids Space makes learning fun and gives children a safe place to explore quality content that keeps them entertained and engaged. Its thin and light design and long battery life make it easy to use at home for entertainment or on the road for work-based tasks.

Being 8.6 mm thin and weighing in at just 430 grams, the Acer Iconia Tab M10 delivers the perfect balance between entertainment and education. With a 10.1” IPS WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display and a narrow bezel design, a screen-to-body ratio of 76%,  long battery life and an all-metal thin and light design, it’s the ideal tablet to use at home or at school.

The tablet comes with Google Kids Space and Google Entertainment Space pre-installed to support all the family’s entertainment needs. Google Entertainment Space serves as a one-stop portal for all media apps installed, a personalised home for favourite movies, shows, videos, games, books, podcasts and music, split across four tabs – Watch, Games, Read and Listen.

This allows families to share the tablet with each family member accessing their personalized content by switching to their own account. To keep the tablet safe from knocks and bumps, it comes with a clear bumper case made of high-quality TPU Material that shows off the attractive design of the Iconia tablet.

The corners are also bolstered with bumpers to give the device better protection. The Acer Iconia Tab M10 tablet is available in EMEA with prices starting at $179. The Acer Iconia Tab P10 tablet is available in EMEA with prices starting at $229.
