Nvidia Unveils Rubin: Successor to Blackwell Architecture Arriving in 2026

Published

on

At the Computex trade show in Taipei, Taiwan, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, revealed the name of their next-generation chip architecture during his keynote on Sunday evening. “Rubin,” named after famed astronomer Vera Rubin, will succeed the current “Blackwell” line of GPUs and CPUs. Scheduled for launch in the first half of 2026, this announcement underscores Nvidia’s commitment to releasing new chip architectures annually. With a hint of playful apprehension, Huang joked to the audience right before unveiling the Rubin line, “This is the first time anyone will see this, and I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not.”

“All of these chips are in full development, 100% of them, and the rhythm is one year, at the limits of technology, all 100% architecturally compatible,” said Huang, “and all of the richness of software on top of it.”

Nvidia’s Rubin reveal follows closely behind their official announcement of the Blackwell architecture at the GTC conference just three months ago. Research firm Jefferies & Co. suggests the Rubin chips will incorporate the next-generation memory standard, HBM4, replacing the current top-of-the-line HBM3e. This applies to both the GPU family (designated R100 GPUs) and a central processing unit (CPU) codenamed Vera.

Jefferies analysts predict Rubin chips will be manufactured by TSMC using their cutting-edge 3-nanometer process, with production slated for late 2025. The design utilizes a “4x reticle design” compared to Blackwell’s 3.3x, meaning it occupies more space on a silicon wafer during the chip creation process. Additionally, Huang hinted at a future “Blackwell Ultra” GPU alongside a confirmation of a “Rubin Ultra” architecture arriving in 2027.

CORSAIR Launches the NAUTILUS RS and NAUTILUS RS ARGB Series of Liquid CPU Coolers

Published

on

CORSAIR has launched the CORSAIR NAUTILUS RS and NAUTILUS RS ARGB family of liquid CPU Coolers. These innovative coolers deliver high-performance CPU cooling with easy installation and outstanding compatibility with modern CPU sockets. The NAUTILUS RS family is available in black in both 240mm and 360mm sizes, while the NAUTILUS RS ARGB is available in both black and white in the same sizes, with added ARGB lighting to enhance your build.

The NAUTILUS RS series features an efficient, low-noise pump and a slightly convex cold plate pre-applied with thermal paste in an optimized pattern, improving contact with the processor’s integrated heat spreader for superior thermal transfer. Available in 240mm or 360mm radiator sizes and equipped with RS120 fans, NAUTILUS RS coolers effectively maintain optimal temperatures for high-end CPUs.

NAUTILUS RS coolers are equipped with black CORSAIR RS120 fans that provide strong airflow with PWM-controlled speeds up to 2,100 RPM. The NAUTILUS RS ARGB versions feature ARGB connections, with eight RGB LEDs per fan. To make installation easier, these fans can be daisy-chained together to simplify wiring. Effortlessly connect each fan to the next, then use a single 4-pin PWM header on your motherboard for speed control and a single 4-pin ARGB header to control the lighting.

The RS120 fans are optimized for radiator use and are enhanced by CORSAIR AirGuide technology and magnetic dome bearings for directed airflow cooling performance and remarkably low noise levels.

RGB lighting isn’t everyone’s vibe. Sometimes you just want something that’s the strong, silent type, which is why the NAUTILUS RS’s black-on-black aesthetic may be the right match for a stealth build. Even the mounting hardware eschews bright chrome or nickel-plated metal for a dark and stealthy finish. Not into lights? No problem.

The NAUTILUS RS ARGB models feature eight RGB LEDs on the pump and on each fan, so you can create a captivating light show, easily controlled via motherboard ARGB software. Just plug in and start customizing with your motherboard’s ARGB software suite.

The NAUTILUS RS series of coolers includes mounting hardware for both Intel socket LGA 1700 and LGA 1851, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5-based systems, and comes with all the mounting hardware you need to attach the radiators to any case that supports a 240mm or 360mm radiator.

For optimal cooling performance, each NAUTILUS RS cooler also features pre-applied XTM60 thermal interface material (TIM). XTM60 ensures efficient thermal transfer between your CPU and the copper cold plate.

CORSAIR Launches New iCUE LINK RX MAX Fan Series

Published

on

CORSAIR has launched the iCUE LINK RX MAX series fans. These fans are 30mm thick – 20% thicker than standard 25mm fans. This increased thickness allows for superior airflow and static pressure, enabling the fans to move more air while running slower and quieter for optimal cooling performance.

The RX120 MAX PWM fans feature a speed range of 400 to 2,000 RPM and an impressive 4.2mm-H2O static pressure, making them ideal for pushing air through dense radiators. Similarly, the RX140 MAX fans operate between 300 and 1,600 RPM with a static pressure of 2.4mm-H2O, providing powerful cooling for a wide range of high-performance components.

CORSAIR AirGuide Technology focuses airflow precisely where it is needed most, enhancing cooling efficiency and performance. The fans also feature a Magnetic Dome bearing for long-lasting performance and quiet operation, offering a balance between durability and reduced noise levels. Non-RGB fans are equipped with built-in temperature sensors, allowing users to fine-tune fan curves through iCUE software and customize their cooling profiles for peak performance.

Available in both 120mm and 140mm sizes, the iCUE LINK RX MAX fan series meets a wide range of cooling needs, with options featuring RGB lighting or a sleek non-RGB design. The RGB models are available in both black and white, allowing users to match their PC builds aesthetically, while the non-RGB versions are available exclusively in black.

Each RGB-enabled fan in the iCUE LINK RX MAX series features eight RGB LEDs that deliver vibrant lighting effects. A built-in side window further enhances the visual appeal, offering more angles for viewing custom lighting setups. CORSAIR iCUE LINK technology enables the seamless connection of multiple fans, all managed through the Starter Kit’s included iCUE LINK System Hub. This single-cable solution simplifies the installation process and ensures tidy cable management.

CORSAIR iCUE LINK RX MAX fans are available as single units or as part of a Starter Kit, which includes 3x 120mm fans (or 2x 140mm) and an iCUE LINK Hub. Experience the next generation of cooling technology with the new iCUE LINK RX MAX series fans and take your PC’s performance to new heights.

CORSAIR iCUE LINK RX MAX Series Fans are available immediately from the CORSAIR webstore and the CORSAIR worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors. The iCUE LINK RX MAX and RX MAX RGB Series are backed by a five-year warranty, alongside the CORSAIR worldwide customer service and technical support network.
