Lenovo Legion Launches Next-Gen Gaming Products at CES 2025

Lenovo has announced the latest additions to its Lenovo Legion ecosystem of gaming devices, accessories, and software at CES 2025. The new lineup includes a range of devices designed to offer gamers of all levels powerful options to enhance their gaming experience. Among the new releases are the Lenovo Legion Go S (8″) and Lenovo Legion Go S (8″) – Powered by SteamOS, handheld gaming devices featuring an 8-inch screen with VRR support and TrueStrike controllers.

These are the world’s first officially licensed handhelds powered by SteamOS, providing a seamless transition between PC gaming and handheld experiences. Lenovo also introduced the Lenovo Legion Go (8.8″), a prototype handheld gaming device featuring a native landscape OLED display, increased RAM, and a larger battery. The prototype showcases Lenovo’s vision for future handheld gaming, emphasizing premium, immersive experiences.

The redesigned Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16″), Legion Pro 5i (16″), and Legion Pro 5 (16″) laptops feature a new aggressive design, improved performance, and Lenovo PureSight OLED display options. These laptops are designed for competitive gamers seeking top-tier performance. Lenovo’s new Legion Space gaming software solution unifies all Lenovo Legion device settings, syncs with the entire Lenovo Legion ecosystem, and provides access to all games in one library. It includes AI-powered features to enhance gaming, streaming, and overall enjoyment.

Additionally, Lenovo introduced the Legion Pro 34WD-10 monitor, a PureSight OLED display with gaming-specific features to give competitive gamers an edge. Lenovo also announced other new additions to its Legion and LOQ laptops and desktops, the latest Legion Tab, and a selection of Legion accessories to complement the gaming devices. Lenovo has also introduced its latest Legion Pro series, including the Legion Pro 7i (16″), Legion Pro 5i (16″), and Legion Pro 5 (16″), at CES 2025. These new models feature advanced thermal technologies and powerful processors to enhance gaming performance.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (16″)
The Legion Pro 7i (16″) is equipped with Legion Coldfront Vapor technology and hyperchamber, delivering up to 250W TDP. It also features Lenovo AI Engine+ with Scenario Detection in Performance and Balance Modes, dynamically adjusting CPU and GPU wattage for smoother framerates.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (16″)
The Legion Pro 5 series showcases a new aggressive design with massive vents for heat dissipation, utilizing the Coldfront Hyper thermal system with turbocharged fans and oversized 3D copper heat pipes. This system keeps the Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU cool while maintaining low noise levels. The 16″ PureSight WQXGA 16:10 OLED display offers up to a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, and low latency response time for high-fidelity gaming visuals.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (16″)
The Legion Pro 7i (16″) features customisable per-key RGB on its TrueStrike keyboard, while the Pro 5i (16″) and Pro 5 (16″) offer 24-zone RGB customisation. These laptops are powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, which provide enhanced AI capabilities, DLSS 4 performance, and access to NVIDIA NIM microservices.

Lenovo Legion 7i (16″)
The Legion 7i (16″) is a thinner, lighter all-metal gaming laptop, designed for gamers in STEM programs. It features a 16″ WQXGA 16:10 PureSight OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 support, powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 HX processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. The Coldfront Hyper technology keeps the laptop cool and quiet, supporting up to 145W TDP.

Lenovo Legion 5i (15″) and Lenovo Legion 5 (15″)
The Legion 5 series is ideal for university gamers, offering a thin and light package with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors for the 5i (15″) and AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processors for the 5 (15″). Both models feature up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and a 15.3″ WQXGA 165Hz PureSight display. The Legion Coldfront Hyper thermal technology ensures efficient cooling.

Lenovo Legion Tower 7i (34L) and Lenovo Legion Tower 5i/5 (30L)
The Legion Tower series provides powerful gaming performance with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX desktop processors for the Tower 7i (34L) and Tower 5i (30L), and AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processors for the Tower 5 (30L). They feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series GPUs and customizable ARGB fans controlled through Legion Space.

Lenovo Legion Tab (8.8″)
The Legion Tab (8.8″) is a gaming tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, supporting ray tracing and up to 165 FPS. It features an 8.8″ 2.5K 165Hz PureSight touch display, 12GB of LPDDR5X, and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The tablet offers customizable settings in Legion Space for an optimised gaming experience.

Lenovo Legion Space
The redesigned Legion Space supports all Lenovo Legion and LOQ gaming devices, synchronizing device settings, game libraries, and RGB settings. It features AI-powered tools to help gamers improve their skills and streamline the social media and livestream editing process.

Lenovo has introduced a new suite of gaming devices, software, and accessories at CES 2025, designed to elevate the gaming experience for Lenovo Legion users.

The new Legion Space software offers a range of advanced features for gamers:

  • Game Coach: Uses AI to track eye, keyboard, and mouse inputs, analyzing in-game performance to provide personalized improvement plans.

Lenovo Legion Pro 34WD-10 Gaming Monitor
The Lenovo Legion Pro 34WD-10 Gaming Monitor features a curved 34″ PureSight OLED display with an 800R curvature, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time for increased immersion. It offers a USB Type-C one cable solution, 2.5G RJ45 port, and AI technologies including an Anti-Burn-in algorithm and user detection. The monitor also supports Lenovo TrueSplit for multi-monitor setups and comes with customizable RGB lighting.

Lenovo Legion R34w-30 Monitor
The 34″ Lenovo Legion R34w-30 Monitor offers a 1500R curvature, 180Hz refresh rate, and 0.5ms MPRT for quick response times. It features 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, with HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 ports for seamless switching between video sources.

Lenovo LOQ Full Lineup
The Lenovo LOQ lineup includes affordable options for new gamers, with devices featuring Intel and AMD options, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs, and both laptop and tower form factors. New this year is the 17″ LOQ laptop, the Lenovo LOQ 17IRX10, offering even more choice for gamers.

Lenovo has also introduced new accessories:
