Yoga Solar PC Concept
The Yoga Solar PC proof of concept is designed for those who turn any space—indoors or outdoors—into a productive workspace. The device aims to bridge the gap between functionality and environmental awareness and represents Lenovo’s vision of achieving a future where renewable energy and innovation are intrinsically intertwined. The device represents a step towards this goal by featuring a solar panel with an over 24% conversion rate—one of the highest in the industry.

This conversion rate is achieved by leveraging ‘Back Contact Cell’ technology, which moves mounting brackets and gridlines to the back of the solar cells, maximizing the active absorption. The breakthrough Dynamic Solar Tracking system constantly measures the solar panel’s current and voltage, working with the Solar-First Energy system to automatically adjust the charger’s settings to prioritize sending the harvested energy to the system, helping to ensure maximum energy-savings and system stability regardless of light intensity. Even in low-light conditions, the panel can still generate power, sustaining battery charge when the PC is idle.

This innovation allows the solar panel to absorb and convert enough direct sunlight in 20 minutes to power up to one hour of video playback on the PC2. And at 15mm thin and just 1.22kg, the thin and light Yoga Solar PC Concept is the world’s first ultraslim solar-powered PC3 and is an important step in realizing Lenovo’s aspiration to empower a future where creating on a PC can be done anywhere the light touches.

Solar Power Kit for Yoga
Likewise inspired by the same innovative vision that manifested in the Yoga Solar PC, the Solar Power Kit for Yoga proof of concept utilizes Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) to optimize solar energy conversion to convert every captured ray of sunlight into usable power. With a detachable USB-C solar panel that can be attached to a bag, backpack, tent, or tree, the power bank can be charged wherever there is sunlight for the solar panel to capture.

AI Display with NPU Inside
Another demonstration of Lenovo’s commitment to “smarter technology for all”, Lenovo’s AI Display, a proof of concept that leverages AI to optimize user experience, comes with a discrete NPU inside. The dNPU not only enhances the monitor’s abilities, but also empowers non-AI PCs with AI computing power. With the AI Display with NPU inside, non-AI PCs will be able to use Large Language Models, receiving commands from the user, analyzing and recognizing the intent, and allowing the Assistant to execute the request. The AI Display with NPU inside still adapts to the user’s movements by automatically rotating, elevating and tilting the screen to optimize viewing angles.

Lenovo AI Stick
The Lenovo AI Stick is a proof of concept that allows users with a non-NPU-equipped PC access to advanced AI features such as local Large Language Models (LLM) and AI-enhanced graphics apps on their device. The Lenovo AI Stick contains a 32 TOPS NPU that connects to a PC via a USB-C Thunderbolt port, allowing the PC to leverage Lenovo AI Now functionalities. It can also be plugged into a wall socket to unleash maximum performance for demanding AI tasks.

Smart Connect
Lenovo and Motorola continue to enhance device interaction with Smart Connect’s new AI-powered features. Designed to maximize efficiency and convenience, Smart Connect now leverages Lenovo AI Now11 and Moto AI in existing devices, enabling users to gather information, locate files across devices, and in tandem with Moto AI, control devices with simple voice commands like “Show me my PowerPoint slides on my PC” or “Find my receipts from October”.
